Junior Training Schedule 2020 - 2021 Season

This season we have 2 Junior Training groups based on the skills and experience of the child as described below. There is no obligation to attend every session but the more time they spend on the water the better. If you are unsure which group to attend or are unable to make certain sessions, please discuss this with the Junior Coordinator and we will do our best to make it work.

Please remember Hi-Vis vests must be worn for all training sessions.

Junior 'Skills' Training:

For all new paddlers and those still developing their basic skills. Must hold 200m Safety Badge.

Objectives: Learn the fundamentals of board paddling, position on board, wave catching, popping, rolling and equipment care.

Hi everyone, now that we've moved back to Level One we can get back to normal service at Moana Pool. Swimming tonight at 6:30. For anyone wanting to try for their 200m Safety Badge we'll be testing from 6:15. Remember it's 200m in 7minutes + 1 minute treading water.

There will be a 2 week break over the School Holidays then we'll be back into it for term 4
