St Clair Surf Life Saving Club is a volunteer lifeguard service which provides lifeguarding services at St Clair beach and its surrounding environment.
From early November through to March St Clair members provide a valuable service to the general public. The voluntary patrol hours at St Clair Beach are Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00PM. All active club members over the age of 14 are eligible to complete their Surf Lifeguard Award and join one of our voluntary patrol teams.
St Clair Beach is also patrolled during the summer school holiday period on weekdays between 11:00AM and 7:00PM through the Surf Life Saving Otago Professional Lifeguard programme. St Clair Surf Life Saving also has a active callout list which provides emergency response to any incidents reported.
St Clair is also able to provide life guard support for any events being held in the Dunedin region. Anyone interested in utilising St Clair lifeguarding services is encouraged to contact our club administrator on stclairslsc@xtra.co.nz
St Clair is also able to offer our club members a pathway to achieve First Aid qualifications.
