Come and join us for this Iconic event held on Labour weekend every year!

This year with high tide at 7am we are going to push start time forward to 9am to give those swimmers a shorter trip and lead into a great afternoon wave catching followed by evening festivities. Swimmers will start at 8.30 to get a head start

Keep an eye out for more events on the day which may include food trucks, Mal surfing comp and of course the Otago vs Canterbury boat race.

Entry is free however all participants must have their Lifeguard award or be approved by the Event Controller.
